Pandharpur Temple

Travelling from Pernem to Pandharpur by bus was a wonderful and devotional experience for me. Pernem, a peaceful town in North Goa, is known for its greenery and calm environment. We started our journey early in the morning from the bus stand. The weather was cool, and everyone was excited about visiting the holy place.

The bus journey was long but comfortable. As we left Goa and entered Maharashtra, the scenery slowly changed. The green coconut trees and hills were replaced by open fields and small villages. On the way, we saw rivers, farms, and people working in the fields. We took short breaks at small hotels for tea and snacks. Sitting by the window and watching the passing views made the journey enjoyable. We also sang devotional songs, which created a spiritual mood during the travel.

After many hours, we finally reached Pandharpur, a famous pilgrimage town. Pandharpur is well known for the sacred Vitthal Rukmini Temple dedicated to Lord Vitthal and Goddess Rukmini. The town was crowded with devotees who had come from different places to seek blessings.

We stood patiently in the queue for darshan. The sound of bhajans and chants of “Vitthal Vitthal” filled the air with devotion. When I finally saw Lord Vitthal, I felt deep peace and happiness in my heart. It was a special and unforgettable moment.

The temple premises were clean and well organized. After offering prayers and receiving prasad, we spent some peaceful time near the holy Chandrabhaga River before starting our return journey.

Overall, travelling from Pernem to Pandharpur by bus was not just a trip but a spiritual journey that strengthened my faith and gave me beautiful memories to cherish forever.
